Saudi government has now offered to extend our trip to the Middle East by 4 days. All expenses paid for during that period of time. So I'm pretty almost sure that we'll get to meet a minister or someone up there now. A lunch/dinner with one of the Al-Sauds will sound really nice.
And I feel that I'm damn good la, after securing this deal.

Which also arises another problem. From guest speakers, to sponsorship, to the travel team, now our dear old prof wants me to join the media team. I feel like a one-man wonder.

And I wonder why I didnt accept those two internships. Maybe the Saud family will take me in to live with them for another month and so I can mingle around with Arab princesses and eat oil money.
Now that actually sounds pretty good.

Honestly, even with all these achievements and lucrative offers, I dont really feel like going anymore.

BSM is way fucking stressful. From inviting in guest speakers to securing a sponsorship from a huge arab oil company to arranging the travel plans for the class. So many readings, so many videos to watch, so many emails to go through. Sometimes I dont know what belongs to where now.
Add in a minor and major project to that.
All in bloody 4 weeks. Okay, technically its less than 3 weeks now.

And the marketing/sponsorship team for the floorball fiesta isnt helping at all. Feels like its only me and joses who are doing everything, making sure we are all on course.
Sometimes, I really wish that floorball just entails playing the game, without any politics off-court. These nonsense just destroys the game, really.
I'm telling you, organizational structure isnt the best thing for just about everything in the world okay.

Gosh. Nowadays I dont feel like going home and checking the email. Madness la.

Everything is going right for my BSM trip.
1. I'm in-charge of the Singapore guest speakers (which i think i can do an extremely great job and make an impression).
2. I got a US$2k internship offer based in Dubai (which i'll highly likely reject).
3. I'm now in the same project group as Ibrahim, probably the best speaker/presenter i personally know of. I have to say this is one exciting prospect to be working with him.

But somehow its all not fulfilling. Like, there's no point for me going through this one and pulling myself through.

Angst got over me for the most of today.

I was looking at the options for my dream overseas exchange to sydney, when i had this big fat punch to the head.
Should i still go on with it? Maybe it'll be better if i stay here in singapore. Pretty damn hard to make a choice on this one.

Anyway. Floorball news.
They called me rio ferdinand and lim tong hai today.
And jill's flying off tonight. I felt sad seeing her just now. And probably my best performance in the smu jersey.

The perks of a cool city campus.
You can see the trees and buildings and traffic (and the occasionally hot chicks if you happen to be looking at the right time) behind you.
There are retractable blinds operated by a switch (which the prof likes to play with) if the sun's up and gets too bright till we cant see whats on our laptop screens (which are usually msn conversations or email checking or games or whatnots).
And it makes everybody happy. =)

This is Tina. I call her Valentina, or sometimes, Summer. She's probably the most dramatic and enthusiastic one in my current project group.

And this is Farhan(summer, by default), and Ivee(winter). Probably the slackest and most hardworking/efficient ones in the team respectively.
So autumn's not in the pic. Together, we're four seasons, and we gonna get an A+ for this module. Haha.
Damn, the stress of seemingly-neverending-projects is seeping in already.

I realised i havent logged in to msn since 9august. Quite long i think. Pretty amazing. Haha.

Okay! Anyways, today was a great day. Those kind of days where there's nothing really impressive happens, but more or less everything falls into place (at last!). And boy does it feel good.
Especially 940pm, that was super great sensations! Some people just can make my day. =)

Oh and kaywee's flying off on wednesday. And one of the two most influential people in my life is gonna fly off on thursday. And then friday, ivan's off. They'll have fun studying outside our beloved singapura i'm sure. I wish i could go off too..

I feel like dropping floorball for latin dance. Go go amigos!

Zhenghua Primary School NDP Carnival 07. Super surreal, to me, seeing young people so patriotic and cheering everytime a national day song starts to play.
But yes, it was a fun day. Kids just make me smile. The teachers too actually. =)

Reading the previous post, i just realised that my floorball div2 games isnt listed as one of the fun things happening for me. Say, a year ago i would have love to be playing for a team in the league. But amazingly, i'm not that enthusiastic at this point of time. Just riding last year's wave, or i'm just faking interest. Say, as cliche as it might sound, everyone IS an actor in his own movie (think a whole lot of truman shows rolling at one time). You have overlapping roles. Either the main actor(in your own movie), a supporting cast(in someone else's movie), probably a stunt double, maybe even the bad guy, or just that random passerby whom nobody notices(but hey, you might appear in the credits if you're lucky).
So yup, that's how life revolves. One day you might be the supporting cast, and suddenly you find yourself being the random passerby. Scarily, it could happen in the same movie.

Anyways. Super fun activities coming up soon.
King Lear, Force Vomit, and Las Revenants all in july. Not forgetting the camps in school.
The Cure(!!!), Baybeats, The King and I, Hors de Prix(read 'Priceless') in august. Heck, there's even a Lovehunters concert then. Hahh.

I had an extremely good morning, and i think i played my part to make Alpha Wolf Squadron play well today.
We got 2nd, which probably is good enough for other people, but not me.
But yup, one could say it turned out to be one of the better days since some time ago. =)

Oh and someone says my voice (tone) sounds like someone who's happy but disappointed. Pretty much spot-on.

New agenda. People (most of them) will surely hate me if they know what it is, except maybe halif. Somehow, he almost always supports me, no matter how nonsense i can turn out to be.

So i just realised that smu uses a 4point grading system, unlike other universities, which uses a 5point system (i think). Which means that probably, should some other dudes (or babes, for that matter) from other unis ask me for my gpa, then they would think i have a low one. Which somehow gets me abit excited (abit, just abit). Muahahaa.
Oh dammit, i just want to know what nus business school is doing to their students.

And yes, first exam results are out!
Gotta say it probably was the best one could do at that point of time. Could have got a couple of grades higher. What a waste.

I have a Midas touch for making things faulty i think.
My SMU student card was faulty. My ATM card is faulty now. Which probably is more of a blessing in disguise than a bane.
