Faith vs Facts. Given the two, which one would you choose?

I've been wanting to write this up for quite some time, but somehow not in the mood. Something inside me triggered this short post to appear today...

Its not that I'm anti-christ, or anti-other religions, or anti-beliefs, or anti-blablablas. Hey seriously, all due respect to you guys and your beliefs.
But I believe that somehow, the more educated we get, the more ignorant we shall be. That's what I'm against. I'm anti-ignorance. Bloody anti-ignorance.
Arguments about Muslims. Ergh. You say Muslims in the 'Arab world' equals to all Muslims? Sorry, but I won't buy that stereotyped idea. A big fat no. You think everybody who wears a jubah is a Muslim? Sorry again. Another big fat no. For all my Muslims friends out there, for your info, Abu Lahab also constantly wears a jubah. But where does he end up? Yes, you know it well.
No more stereotypes please.
Alas, there are of course those hypocrites walking around, thinking that they have done enough to enter the gates of heaven. See see see. Ignorance. Again. Even in my fellow Muslims.
And don't you ever dare say that Islam is not a worthy belief. That's blasphemy, at least in my view.
I myself gotta admit that I'm not the bestest Muslim around. But I try. Yes, I try.

Given the choice between faith and facts, I'd go for the former.
I'd prefer fighting for it, rather than switching, if you get what I mean.

Hmmm... This post might actually get me into ISA's shortlist. Hrmph.
